Position Summary:

UIG Tanks is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our projects, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a key leadership role that requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and manage the overall operations of the company, including project execution, resource allocation, and budget control.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines throughout all projects.
  • Manage and supervise project teams, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery and foster long-term partnerships.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure the highest standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in operations management within the construction industry, preferably with experience in water storage tank projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and safety standards.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make quick, sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations, codes, and standards related to water storage tanks is preferred.

We are seeking a talented Civil or Structural Engineer to join our corporate office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing structural analysis and design for bolted metal tanks, tank structures, and related accessories.

This is an in-house position, you will need to be able to commute to our headquarters in Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design structural solutions for bolted and various tank options, including concrete foundation designs and analysis.
  • Review structural drawings, design calculations, and foundation details for project quotes and orders provided by estimators.
  • Recommend and implement product improvements to enhance safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop competitive solutions for clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (required).
  • Experience with steel structures is essential; experience in tank and concrete design is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel when necessary and meet with clients, engineers, and contractors via virtual meetings or email.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members, management, and clients.
  • Effective communication with clients and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-directed professional environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.

Position Overview: We are seeking a self-motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by expanding our market presence, building strong relationships with sales representatives, dealers, engineers, and general contractors, and generating new business opportunities for UIG Tanks brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contact sales representatives and dealers to promote and sell UIG Tanks brands, ensuring effective distribution and market penetration.
  2. Reach out to engineers and general contractors to secure prequalification for UIG Tanks products in upcoming projects.
  3. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and lead generation activities.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth.
  5. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  6. Represent UIG Tanks at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and social media to promote our products and services.
  7. Provide timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
  8. Stay updated on industry developments, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to anticipate market needs and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, preferably in the industrial or construction sector.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Oversight: Direct field staff to meet project timelines and achieve quality expectations.
  • Training & Mentorship: Train and mentor new field employees, equipping them with essential skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Provide regular updates to project managers and leadership on project status, addressing challenges proactively.
  • Travel: Travel extensively (90%) to various project sites and company locations, nationwide.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Proven track record as a Superintendent or similar role focused on bolted tank installation or concrete foundation projects.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of the unique challenges and technical requirements of bolted storage tank and foundation construction.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards specific to tank installation projects.
  • Leadership Skills:
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.

  • Great time management to bring in projects on time.
  • Project Management:
  • Experience coordinating and overseeing multiple projects simultaneously.
