We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and identify opportunities for expansion in existing markets.


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development plan to achieve company growth targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients, including prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry associations, and government agencies.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and potential new markets for the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, presentations, and other sales materials to effectively communicate the company’s capabilities to prospective clients.
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on business development activities and progress towards goals.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business development role, preferably in the industrial construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry trends, regulations, and standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of generating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience with CRM systems and sales tools.

We are seeking a Field Coordinator – Industrial Construction to join our team! You will travel to job sites across the country to coordinate with the crew, Field Supervisors, General Contractors, and Sub Contractors.


Oversee all aspects of the construction project including logistics, personnel, and reporting

Work with the Field Supervisors and Sub Contractors to manage onsite personnel and subcontractors

Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients

Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Document site conditions with daily reports and photos

Perform safety walks


Previous experience in construction management or other related fields

Familiarity with subcontractor management

Strong leadership qualities

Strong negotiation skills

Deadline and detail-oriented

Good writing and reporting skills

Ability to work with different personality types, always representing the company in the best light.

Ability to think quickly and find solutions to issues before they become problems.

Project Manager to manage construction jobs and field crews.

•Focus on managing everything relating to the installation of our products.

Material Ordering and delivery

Site visits for kickoff meetings and occasional QA

Manage Equipment Rentals

Handling the installers (travel, payroll hours, etc.)

Weekly conference calls

Manage field team including mobilization, demobilization, and timesheet verification.

Submit and review Invoices and Change Orders

Industrial Construction Background

OSHA 30 certified or get certified at time of employment

Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment

Ability to multitask between different projects

Proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, etc.

Some Travel required for kickoff meetings and job walks. (1-2 week increments at most)

AutoCAD experience a plus!

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of building relationships in industrial construction with a proven track record. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and managing relationships with clients, project managers, engineers, general contractors and sales reps.


  • Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to generate new business opportunities.
  • Create and expand UIG’s footprint and build positive top of mind awareness working with engineers, owners and others to specify the UIG product line.
  • Attend industry events and other meetings to stay abreast of market conditions, competition, and establish relationships with existing clients and prospects.
  • Provide ongoing progress updates on new business development activities and other key indicators to the UIG management team.
  • Coordinate and assist in the proposal process with UIG marketing and project management teams.


  • Business Development experience in the industrial construction industry or water/wastewater or similar arena with a successful track record of building relationships.
  • Proven ability to establish profitable relationships with decision makers at companies and organizations.
  • Outstanding presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
